ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIVE TREATMENTS AT METHODIST HOSPITAL TO BENEFIT FROM PROCEEDS

In recent years, there has been a significant change in how healthcare is delivered. We need your assistance to address the demand for emerging technologies as we proceed.

We are creating blueprints for a hybrid operating room that combines a conventional operating room and an image-guided interventional suite. This combination enables extremely sophisticated, difficult surgical techniques. Cardiothoracic, vascular, endovascular, neurological, and spinal surgeries all use hybrid operating rooms. A key component of this is the use of intraoperative imaging during difficult surgeries to carry out and ensure quality.

Additionally, we are looking towards getting a new da Vinci surgical robotic system. The surgery area is seen in crystal clear 3D high-definition views that are 10 times larger than what the human eye can see thanks to the robotic technology. The surgeon also employs tiny instruments with precise precision movement that resemble human hands but have a much wider range of motion. Da Vinci surgical robotic system surgery is less intrusive, results in shorter hospital stays, and can hasten patient recovery and improve outcomes.

These cutting-edge medical technologies will support Methodist Hospital’s world-class medical care for many years to come.
